Vanguard Painting recently completed the exterior caulking and painting of our 20-storey south tower at Cambridge Gardens. The job was inspected and passed by the Master Painters and Decorators Association.
It was mentioned by the rigging company that this was one of the most difficult buildings in Vancouver to rig, due to the cascading balconies on our rooftop. Through a combination of swing stages and chair work, Vanguard was able to access all surfaces of the building.
The scope of work involved pressure washing, caulking, stucco repair, painting of the stucco with an elastomeric coating, painting of metal flashing, and replacement of flat vent covers with custom made hooded vent covers.
